Every smile starts with an initial consultation!
Your initial consultation will give you the opportunity to meet our team, learn more about orthodontics, receive a complete initial exam, and find out which treatment options will best meet your needs. During your initial consultation, we will:
- Review your dental and medical history forms
- Provide a complete oral exam, with X-rays, to determine whether treatment is necessary
- Help you create a customized treatment plan
- Discuss all financial information, insurance options, and payment plans

What happens after the initial consultation?
You are one step closer to achieving the smile you've always wanted! After your consultation, we will schedule your first appointment to get started with your personalized orthodontic plan. This appointment generally takes about forty-five minutes to an hour, depending on the first step in your customized treatment. During this time our team will be available to make sure that you are as comfortable as possible.
Scheduling Appointments
Visiting the orthodontist about every four to six weeks is an important part of your orthodontic treatment. Our practice will work with you to make sure that your appointments are as convenient as possible. When scheduling appointments, please let us know what days and times work best for you.
We understand that “life happens”! If you need to reschedule a reserved appointment, we do request a 48 hour notice in order to offer that appointment to another patient. Please note that when rescheduling our next available appointment could be three to four weeks away, and we will place you on a priority list to come in sooner. Orthodontic treatment works best when the patient is seen on regular monthly appointments to help insure that your treatment is staying on track with your individualized plan.

The cost of your orthodontic treatment will vary depending on your individual needs and treatment plan. Our staff will discuss with you the cost of your treatment and each available payment plan option, so that you can make the best choice for you and your smile. We will work with you to create a interest and finance free payment plan that fits your budget, and you will know what to expect before beginning treatment.
